Takoda (AKA Oscar)

Oscar was one of the first foals born at Winsdown Farm. We showed him as a weanling and a Yearling and sold him as a Show prospect at TSE Tattersalls in the Fall of his Yearling year. We completely lost track of him until contacted in the Fall of 2003 by his present owners who now call him Takoda. Takoda had fallen on hard times, but is now a shining star and has a very loving family. In 2004 he was the Erie Hunt & Saddle Club's Reserve Adult Equitation winner with his owner Sheril Kolenda with Paul Edwards looking on. Keep up the great work! Below are pictures from his days at Winsdown and from his present home. In June 2006 we were treated by a visit from Paul & Sheril when they stopped in on there cross country trip. Takoda passed away July 2, 2008 a victim of colic. He will be sadly missed by us all.
