Mountjoy's Raven (Gray Mare born in 2002)
Raven is a wonderful broodmare. Easy to manage easy breeder and consistent producer of some very nice colts. Raven has never been worked, though she is an easy catch and will come up to the fence for her daily ear scratces. She does best living in a herd out in a field. Since 2017 she has produced five lovely foals for us including her 2023 foal born this week. The first four have all been shown. They include Winsdown Meadowlark winner of the 2017 Iowa Limited Stake and Winsdown Q 2021 Tanbark UPHA Park Pleasure Champion, 2019 undefeated Yearling Colt plus Reserve winner of the Texas Limited stake in 2018. In an effort to give exceptional value for dollar spent we take no trades and do not offer terms. Sorry we do not lease horses.
The transfer is to be paid by the buyer for horses that are sold for less than $3,500.00. Winsdown Farms will pay the transfer fee for horses sold for $3,500.00 and over.
Foals sold for less than $2,500.00 will be sold on a breeder's certificate- All documents necessary to register will be provided but it is the responsibility of buyer to submit and pay fees to the ASR.
